Suchetha has over 19 years of work experience having worked both in the corporate and social sector. As an Electronics and Communication engineer, she started her career with Larsen and Toubro and then worked with multinationals such as Telelogic and IBM during her successful 9 year corporate stint. However, volunteering for Dream a Dream helped her realize her true passion and she went on to get a Post Graduate degree in Psychological Counselling. Since joining Dream a Dream full-time in 2010 she has been instrumental in scaling the impact of the organization, from 3000 children to over 3 million children today. She is the co-author of the scientific journal ‘The Life Skills Assessment Scale (LSAS): New Norms to include 17-19 and 20-22 years’. She is also a facilitator and has trained over 500 youth and adults on the creative life-skills approach. Her strengths include understanding child-adversity, organization culture building, and impact assessment of life-skills programs. Her passion is to advocate for the urgency and criticality of preparing young people from adversity, for the new world.
