Steve has a long and distinguished career working on the architecture of learning design. Originally a school teacher, Steve rapidly attracted recognition in both the National Quality Schools (Excellence by a Teacher) and Microsoft (Innovative Teacher) awards.
Steve then become Director of Innovation at Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning (SCIL), a school-based consultancy and incubator which was described by David Price of the UK Innovation Unit as “What would have happened if Edison had been an educator rather than inventor”. SCIL was featured in AITSL’s publication “50 Worldwide Examples of Innovative Approaches to Professional Growth” for its work in assisting schools in rethinking learning design and connecting pedagogy to technology and the learning environment.
Steve joined Amicus in 2016 and leads the strategy team, offering human-centred research and visioning services to organisations of all types.
