Michael has had extensive experience in leading curriculum development workshops across the K-12 in PYP, IB, and the Australian Curriculum. He actively contributes to the national and international conversations around pedagogical growth and student wellbeing, and is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Michael believes in fostering a culture of learning that is consistent, has the ability to scale, grounded upon researched best practices, and importantly, places learners at the centre of all conversations. In 2017, he developed a multidisciplinary elective, "The Lab", with the intent to foster creativity and problem solving, as well as explore the value of deeper learning. This concept has evolved into a P- 12 program where past and senior school students are engaged to mentor junior school students, and "The Lab" has now become a professional learning institute for teachers.
