Lene is an education entrepreneur, learning space design expert and founder of Autens, a leading education consultancy dedicated to re-imagining education and co-creating schools of the future. Incorporating student voice, creativity, co-creation and playfulness, she works with schools and school systems to develop human-centered 21st century learning practices, purpose-driven schools, and a new generation of inspiring learning spaces and education facilities. Lene has three times been named among the Top 100 most inspiring education innovators globally by Finnish HundrED.org for her work with learning space design.Lene is also the vice chair of The Association for Learning Environments Europe, a HundrED.org academy member and co-founder of the COVID19 initiative Link Online Learners, set up to combat student isolation in COVID lockdown (linkonlinelearners.org). In addition she serves on various advisory boards and passionately connects educators and schools from across the globe to learn from each other and transform education together.
