Janine Lyman
Independent Educator Mathematics Professor and Founder of The Curiosity Effect
United States of America
Having grown up in South Africa, Janine has a unique perspective on different education systems, philosophies, and cultures. This experience has enabled her to uncover the unifying elements of learning, in the midst of each classroom’s rich diversity. Her experience extends from inside the classroom to outside, as she has maintained a full career in both teaching and process improvements for over 10 years. Her range of exposure to different industries outside of the classroom, is what affords her the ability to tailor each student’s return on their time and financial investment. Her current mission is to forge change in the universal notion that we are only qualified to make a valuable contribution to the world once we have a college degree. She believes that our desire to reach our goals is what drives us to acquire the relevant knowledge. This occurs at every age and is the spark that ignited The Curiosity Effect, which she recently founded with the mission to reinvent the journey from desire to acquire.
