Social analyst and expert in change management. Chairman of Unescocat–former Center for UNESCO of Catalonia, and Director of the Program of Fellows at the Pasqual Maragall Foundation. Founder and Director of the Alliance for education change Escola Nova 21; (2016-19), which gathered half thousand Catalan schools. He has also lead a university program for the professional development of teachers (UVic-UOC); PhD in Political and Social Sciences (UPF) on “Global Citizenship Education”; MA in Social Sciences (UChicago); BA in Philosophy (UB); and AMP (IESE). He is the author of the book World Scouting: Educating for Global Citizenship (Palgrave MacMillan, 2012). He has been Director of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (2006-12), two-years Visiting Scholar at New York University, two-years Research Fellow of Fitzwilliam College at the University of Cambridge, and Chief of Staff of the Ministry for Universities and Research of the Government of Catalonia.
