Bryn worked in various UK schools for 25 years as a Teacher, Deputy Head and Acting Head.
In 2012, he founded Tagtiv8. His pioneering approach to Physically Active Learning (PAL) provides an enjoyable alternative to classroom based learning and also promotes physical activity – crucial when we all face the increasing problem of sedentary lifestyles. Tagtiv8 have been awarded global education innovation status for 3 years running by the HundrED community.
Together with Dr Andy Daly-Smith, Bryn shared the initial research at a TEDx Talk in 2018. Bryn’s reputation in the field of PAL has been recognised at a national level - he acts as consultant for the BBC and the Premier League.
Bryn is co-founder and co-director of Move & Learn - a Community Interest Company. They have already influenced policy making with school leaders from the NAHT and were part of the team responsible for the ‘Creating Active Schools Framework’.
