Amy Raymond
Immersive Arts Creator of arts and learning spaces, experiences, and programming
United States of America
Amy is a lifelong learner and lover of the arts. She has been working professionally in arts and entertainment since she was 15 years old. As a teenager she dreamed of developing a space where young people were trusted as contributing members of a community. Now, she works with youth, and the communities in which they live and learn, to develop quality spaces, experiences, and programming where people can coalesce and make art. Amy honed her experiential design skills working for Themed Entertainment design firms (theme parks, events, museums, etc). After graduating from Harvard Graduate school of Education, she started teaching at High Tech High Chula Vista. She then worked with a team of 12 students to establish Immersive Arts, a nonprofit that ran a student-run arts studio in an under-served public high school in Boston, Massachusetts. She now continues her quest to build great things with youth leaders.
