In times of disruption the underlying fragmentation becomes more obvious. Looking at human transformation and innovation we see three forces at play: the power of evolution and creativity, human habits, and trauma/collective trauma. When connected to our innermost evolutionary potential we are creative, innovative and we want to learn. That power is often being opposed by our personal habits and structures in society that are outdated and need to change. The third force though is the layer of frozen trauma / collective trauma that needs a completely and different approach and can’t be pushed to develop, otherwise it will always be the sand in the engine of human transformation and learning. Collective trauma is globally prevalent and at the same time so hidden that its enormous effect is often misunderstood.

In this talk we will explore these three fundamental drivers of human development and how to approach them and work with them to harvest their potential. Unskillful approaches, leadership and facilitation can turn them into difficulties and block the change that is so much needed in our world. Skillful facilitation means making those three forces our ally on our collective path. Change - ability is a tremendously important competence in the decades to come.
