In the world of education, for profit companies are not always welcome. Yet quality often comes with a price. And many well-intended educational initiatives have limited reach and impact because they lack the financial means to create a high quality user experience.

This session will use the example of Lehrermarktplatz - a platform where 500.000 German speaking teachers share their self created teaching resources - to illustrate how a for profit business model can empower the open sharing of educational resources.
