Think Equal: A presentation of the programme and its tangible toolbox

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The Think Equal workshop will present the Think Equal social and emotional learning (SEL) programme in a straightforward and concrete manner. Because participants will have learned about the conception of Think Equal in the Keynote, the Workshop serves to explore the programme in more depth and detail, so that any interested educator has the opportunity to learn more.

Beginning with the 25 SEL competencies the Think Equal programme covers (including, but not limited to, empathy; gender equality; emotional literacy; environmentalism; celebration of diversity; critical thinking; peaceful conflict-resolution), the workshop will then move into the tangible materials upon which the programme is built, including the SEL based children's books, the step-by-step lesson plans and the printed resources that accompany the activities.

Led by a PowerPoint Presentation, the workshop will include various opportunities to engage participants through virtually-based activities, as well as group discussions via the Zoom chat option, and/or spoken dialogue. There will also be a selection of powerful videos to be explored, which shed light on how the programme was cultivated and the impact it has had on students and teachers who have implemented across the globe. Contact information on how to become more involved will also be presented at the closing of the Workshop.
