Session Overview; As the time changes, the way lessons are being delivered have changed too. MOreover, since we live in a versatile age, it has become super important that teachers revisit the way they deliver learning to students while considering the environment and resources students have access to when leading learning. Asynchronous and Synchronous delivery has been one of the most important concept added to learning innovation overtime. Though these concepts have proven to be effective in moving learning forward especially in unprecedented times such as the outbreak of COVID19, It has however not been certain that it has been able to cater for the needs of learners from low-income communities who lack access to steady internet, learning devices and educational resources. This session will however focus on how we can productively extend this models to students with these challenges. For the sake of the different learners’ needs and the adaptability to modern technologies, Asynchronous, synchronous and even hybrid learning should be greatly understood. In this session Participants will learn about the synchronous and synchronous deliver, how we can make it adaptible to our different environments and how we can leverage on it to assist students with major needs such as bad internet connection, lack of access to materials and a conducive learning environment.

About the audience;
This session will serve entry-level educators who are just starting out such as student-teachers. At this level, It is assumed that these educators are testing out models that work with the little resources at their disposal while looking out for ways that could make room for learners’ different learning capabilities and ultimately target to improve learning outcome.

Learning Objectives;
Participants will be able to understand what asynchronous and synchronous learning is, how to use each of them as well as how to use both.
Participants will be able to learn the steps involved in flipping materials for the classroom.
Participants will be able to understand the different kinds of learners for each class and how to adjust deliveries to benefit them.
