Do we really need to sit together in a room and learn together, to learn effectively? Do we learn better by sitting our desks and staring at blackboards, or do we learn better while walking or riding a cycle or simply while sipping a hot cuppa latte on our couch?
Education spans lifelong. And life spans are increasing. With several countries either with existing aging populations or projected aging populations, education cannot always be in class. Now with the pandemic, we are catapulted into a reality of remote learning not just as a way for lifelong learning but all learning.
If you have your hot cuppa latte with you, let's reimagine education with 3 stories.
1. Neha is a third grader, who lives with a hearing disability. Her parents are daily wage earners.
2. Tina is a smart educated young woman, and an entrepreneur in the Retail space. With e-commerce booming she needs to transition her business online but doesn't have the time to go back to school.
3. Radha is a retired doctor, and old - nearing 70. She's now considering coaching on wellness. She would love to sign up for a school for the elderly because she isn't tech savvy. However elderly schools are non existent around her.
