Using SES assessment with Pentabilities in classroom scenarios

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This workshop will put into practice the central idea of Pentabilities: use of behaviors as indicators of socioemotional skills. This focuses the attention on the process of learning rather than the final outcome. Process explains the outcome and allows to give concrete and specific feedback to guide students’ future actions for improvement. In this workshop, several classroom scenarios will be proposed to practice the use of behaviors to demonstrate the socioemotional skills in different contexts. Also, we will analyse the data of a couple of example students to see how evidences (behaviors) collected at different time points of a project can help hold good feedback sessions on socioemotional skills, with concrete and specific evidences collected over time, by teachers, peers and self.
