[RE]LEARN 2020 - The Learning Innovation Festival

Participants will undergo an experiential learning activity themselves: you will experience a micro sprint of an externship. We will identify a real challenge or need within a partner company, and over the course of the workshop, participants will have to come up with a presentation that addresses the need of the client.

We will come away from the session with successful ways for high school and college educators to create industry-relevant learning experiences, to connect students to employers at scale and to help students explore their career passions.

We will investigate ways to integrate WIL into the learning process earlier to help our learners’ self-discovery process and develop a meaningful path through their career chapters, with recommendations for different age groups and contacts for further assistance.

Participants will leave the session with information on implementing a new learning model as well as a better sense of what will engage your students and contribute to their positive development as they prepare for the career chapters they face.
