Developing Emotional-social intelligence in our youth.

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this VUCA world, our youth are challenged to have a deep sense of self, use their voice, show empathy and relational skills, understand their thinking and it's impact on their own and others' behaviour, and bound-forward from set-backs.

Now, more than ever, our youth need emotional-social intelligence development.

With the best of intent, many schools are poking around the edges of developing these capabilities in their youth, but it requires a strategic, embedded, research-based approach.

Throughout this keynote I will:
Share information on why it is utterly important we invest in this development. Outline the ten emotional intelligence competencies our youth need for their VUCA world.
Share world-first research using emotional-social intelligence assessment tools with children aged 7-12 years, and the impact that had on their development.
Outline how you might start to develop this within your own context.
