The pandemic has affected the globe in the education sector. However, developing countries have been hit worse. For the past 7 months, rural learners have been unable to experience learning of any sort. This has been, largely, caused by lack of access to digital tools like radio, tv, internet, to help them follow online learning materials for the few countries that had online learning platforms. However, there are other kids in the same countries who were able to follow the learning, because they have access to digital tools. This presents the problem of inequality between the learners in the system; those that accessed the learning tools and those that havent, yet they are under the same curriculum and testing standards.

The participants will understand the challenges that are faced by developing countries in the face of outdated education systems, how these injustices affect the learners, and how to address these challenges to create innovative learning methods that are inclusive.
