[RE]LEARN 2020 - The Learning Innovation Festival

Beginning with a guided nature meditation participants will make the connections between elements of nature and their own health, emotional well-being, cognitive capacity, and attention restoration. Together we will identify the biophilic design elements present and missing in their surroundings by conducting a simple biophilic design assessment. We will then move to action with a collaborative brainstorming session resulting in a toolkit of low and no cost design interventions based upon the 15 patterns of biophilic design. Finally we will each commit to an action and leave with a plan for implementing biophilic design in our learning environments.
