What lessons have we learnt from the Pandemic? Who are struggling and who are thriving? Why? How different will the post Pandemic world be? What will be the other disruptions that are likely to occur? How do we parent for the future? What are timeless skills and how do we imbibe them? Who will thrive in the future and why? How do we develop those abilities in our children?

The two great disruptions that will occur are climate change and the conquest of technology. Hundreds of millions of jobs are likely to be lost. Many businesses will be disrupted and several will shut down. So far we have seen the march of technology where incrementally machines, automation and AI have taken away jobs. The march is likely to accelerate into a conquest and a large section of the future generation may find itself out of business and out of jobs. What can parents of today do to mitigate these potential outcomes for their children? More importantly can parents educate and parent differently so their children could actually thrive in the future. We have to begin with reinventing ourselves and pass on our successful practices on to our children. Ours and the next generation can be both prosperous and happy.
