Learner Centered Leadership

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The future of education will require new school models, new approaches for teaching and learning, and innovative leaders who can create the conditions for deeper, student-centered learning. How can leaders move the focus from challenge to possibility, get buy-in from key stakeholders, and create momentum toward transformational change at all levels? Session attendees will have the opportunity to identify where they are in the transformation process and will uncover strategies and tactics to successfully navigate from vision setting, to establishing a learning model, to iterating and achieving impact for all students at scale.

During the session, administrators and leaders in K-12 education will:
Understand how learner-centered education requires a new vision of leadership.
Get insights from decades of research about how organizations can create an internal culture of innovation to support district or school-wide change.
Learn strategies for how school leaders can make transformational change, from creating actionable game plans to getting buy-in from key stakeholders.
Identify the tools and resources needed to encourage participants to embrace a learner-centered learning and leadership model.
