Adult Power Cleanse Bootcamp: Moving to Equity and Co-Creation in our Partnerships with Youth

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this workshop, master educator and trainer Aaron Eden will guide participants in exploration of concrete practices to transform how we partner with youth in order to enhance their lives and ours now and for the future. Participants will work in pairs and small groups to identify their personal and organizational “power-over” stances and will practice ways to shift to a solid “power-with” approach to relating with youth. Learn to apply the principles of equity-based, co-creative endeavor in situations ranging from chores and screen time in the home to bathroom policies and classroom participation in schools. Leave with an understanding of what we are truly teaching when we use our conditioned power-over stance with children, and feel invigorated to continue building your roadmap towards a profound shift in your own personal practice as a parent or teacher, or as a leader in your organization.
