For over 50 years, we have heard of how real change can make a positive impact on learning and teaching. But even in these pandemic days, the resistance to change in education remains strong and emotional. We have all read and heard countless visions of change but very very few ways to make it happen on a large scale.  Ron will reveal the critical mistakes that advocates for change in education continually do. He will explain that finding strategies to convince people, rather than impressing them, will greatly assist the change process. He will also suggest that the choice of words used by advocates of change in education will usually produce more negative reactions than desired.
