Align to Thrive: Learning Ecosystems for Well-Being

Too often, we spend time and resources treating symptoms of education problems that are inherent to the way we design our learning ecosystems. Spending time and resources solving the wrong problem while kids struggle in inequitable and antiquated ecoystems is the equivalent of educational malpractice. Align to Thrive is a highly interactive session to identify and beginning solving the right problem --- to design equitable learning ecosystems where all people's unique and holistic needs are met.

The session is designed to be equal parts fun, engaging, and relevant for educational leaders and innovative teachers. The session is for individuals who like seeing the big picture, yet want to dig into the weeds to create aligned learning ecosystems where all kids are seen, heard, valued, and loved. Nathan Strenge at Fielding International defines an aligned learning ecosystem is one where vision, environment, and human capacity work together as interdependent parts to strengthen and sustain one another.

Participants will leave the session with a clear understanding of aligned learning ecosystems, as well as an emerging path to solve the right problem within their own context. In addition, time spent in community will allow for natural networking with others on the journey of aligning learning ecosystems.
